Unique romeria to hermitage built into rock face (Virgen de la Peña—Virgin of the Rock). Pilgrims climb mountain path, "pastorada" (shepherd's dance) performed in 18th-century costumes, dance of "los palitroques" (wooden stick dance), mass in rock hermitage (originally Muslim castle converted to Christian shrine after 1063 Reconquista)
