One of Europe's premier jazz festivals, running since 1980. Brings established artists (past: Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis, Diana Krall, Brad Mehldau) and emerging talent from Spain, Europe, US, Latin America. 2026 program announced September. Venues: Teatro Fernán Gómez (main stage, Plaza de Colón), Sala Clamores (intimate jazz club in Malasaña district), Café Central (legendary jazz venue on Plaza del Ángel—claimed to be Europe's oldest dedicated jazz club, open since 1982, saw Miles Davis perform last Madrid gig). Tickets: €15-40 per concert, festival passes available. Many free jam sessions at Café Central after midnight
