Key events: Gegants (giants parade on September 24—10-metre-high papier-mâché royal figures dance through Gothic Quarter), Correfoc (fire run—"devils" with fireworks run through streets spraying sparks, participants dress as devils and dragons, crowds jump to avoid sparks), Castells (human towers built by colles castelleres teams at Plaça Sant Jaume), Piromusical (fireworks + music + water fountain show at Montjuïc's Magic Fountain, final night September 24), Trobada de Gegants (giants from across Catalonia gather for parade). Also: BAM music festival (free concerts across city stages), air show over Port Vell, sardana dancing in cathedral square
